Atheras

Atheras is a traditional mountain village in northwestern Kefalonia, on the Paliki Peninsula, approximately 14 kilometres from Lixouri. Nearby, Porto Atheras Beach forms a peaceful sandy bay with clear, shallow and usually calm waters, making it ideal for families and relaxing swims. The small harbour, green surrounding landscape and the chapel of Agios Spyridon add to the area’s authentic charm. Atheras is an excellent destination for peaceful holidays and exploring the unspoilt northern part of Paliki.
