Poulata

Poulata is a peaceful village in East Kefalonia, located close to Sami and several of the region’s main attractions. Its convenient position provides easy access to Melissani Lake Cave, Drogarati Cave, Karavomylos and Antisamos Beach. Hiking routes starting near the village lead through traditional settlements abandoned after the 1953 earthquakes. Poulata is an excellent choice for quiet accommodation, countryside walks and exploring the wider Sami area of Kefalonia.
